About : Locke - "Just Locke" - the main character in this story. Locke is immortal and nearly omnipotent. As the stories progress, he learns new talents and abilities. By the end of the current history Locke seems almost a demigod, not only because of his power but also because of his extraordinary ability to control events. This is shown most strongly in "Teardrops of a Saint." Locke leads a solitary life. He uses his powers to "waka-gaeri," or make himself younger. Perhaps this helps him remain young...
