About : Akesato, a beautiful geisha working in Shimabara, who loves Yamanami. She is also a Choshuu spy. Her family was killed by the Bakufu, and Akesato is now secretly working for the Choshuu (Yoshida), along with two other female ninjas, presumably to avenge her family's death (seems to be a common theme in this series).
