About : While on a recon mission in Side 7 with Denim and Slender, Gene decided to recklessly go out and attack the Earth Federation forces head on. During the attack, Amuro Ray manages to get into the RX-78-2 Gundam and fight Gene. After realizing how powerful the Gundam was Gene tried to flee, but his Zaku was cut in half by Amuro's Beam Saber, causing the Zaku to explode with Gene still inside.
