About : Brau-1589 is the first robot to ever kill a human, taking place eight years prior the events of Pluto. The way Naoki Urasawa drew Brau-1589's limbs are reminiscent of the collapsible arms and legs that were part of the design for the Blue Knight or Blue Bon from Tezuka's Tetsuwan Atom. Blue Bon was a robot consumed with hate that went against robot law and killed humans. He met an untimely end by being pierced through the chest with his own spear.
