About : The second prince of the Imperial Family. Chagum bears the egg of the water spirit originally defeated by his ancestors. The spirit is said to be the cause of the "Drought Sign" read by the Empire's Star Diviners and in order to not shame the Imperial Family, Chagum has been silently condemned to death by his father, the emperor. To save her son, the empress hired Balsa to protect Chagum's life and flee from the imperial palace.
