On July 18, 2022, Mediapart published a blog post announcing that Arnaud Romain had died a few days earlier, at the age of 53. He was suffering from an illness that weakened him for several months, the health of his brain forced him to stop recording. His most important role, Oluo Bozado in Shingeki no Kyojin, having finished his arc during season 1 and the recap movie, he was able to dub it entirely. Unfortunately, because of this worrying health condition, he will not be able to recover his second role, Nile Dok, he will be replaced by Antoine Tomé from Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3.
