(A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin' in the Schoolyard) In 2019, aliens won the war over Earth, leaving mankind in ruin. Aliens see humans in the same way that chickens were considered to be food. Currently, however, two remnants of humanity can be found in the garden of a school swarming with alien students. Yuuto and Ami have evaded execution by disguising themselves as chickens, which most aliens find rather unappetizing—but one perceptive student named Youhei sees through their guise. Fortunately, he disapproves of the indiscriminate killing of humans and decides to lend the two a hand. Sasaki-kun ga Juudan Tometa (Sasaki Stopped a Bullet) To Sasaki, his teacher Chieko Kawaguchi is God. She taught him not to be ashamed of his own dreams and made him feel fully capable to forge forward and make them come true, no matter how low the odds. Yet one day, trouble from Kawaguchi's past follows her into the classroom. With his god in danger of total humiliation, Sasaki sets out to protect his teacher using her very own teachings: to strive for the impossible. Koi wa Moumoku (Love Is Blind) There is a time in everyone's life when they absolutely must speak out, or they will regret it forever—and for Ibuki, that time is now. Ibuki has achieved a lot during his tenure as student president, but from his perspective, his success in high school is thanks to Yuri Kounosu, the only other council member. Determined to confess to her before leaving for university, tasks like preparing for the graduation ceremony—or negotiating the fate of planet Earth with an alien—are now secondary worries. To properly seize the moment, Ibuki resolves to turn a blind eye to any obstacle delaying his declaration of love. Shikaku Shikaku is a notorious yet compassionate hitman. Meanwhile, Yücel is about to die of boredom—at least, he wishes he could. The immortal vampire has reached the peak of apathy after experiencing everything life has to offer, which is why he has offered Shikaku 100 million dollars to kill him. Having failed to do so, Shikaku apologizes for any pain she might have caused him, only to be met with forgiveness for the first time ever. The two pity each other, but while Yücel has given up hope, Shikaku is spurred to be the much-needed change in his life. Ningyo Rhapsody (Mermaid Rhapsody) A myth says that mermaids eat humans, but that does not dissuade Toshihide, who wishes to meet one. His deceased mother was a mermaid, and thanks to her genes, Toshihide can hold his breath for extended periods of time. Using this to his advantage, Toshihide skips school to play a piano he found under the sea. One day, the beauty of Toshihide's playing draws the attention of a real mermaid. But he suddenly runs out of air and begins to drown, prompting her to rescue him. In gratitude, Toshihide promises to teach the mermaid, named Shiju, how to play the piano. Over time, the pair take great pleasure in each other's company, but once he learns that the myth might be true, Toshihide cannot help but wonder if he could be at risk of becoming Shiju's next meal. Me ga Sametara Onnanoko ni Natteita Yamai (Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome) Diagnosed with the incurable Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome, Toshihide is forced to deal with being ostracized and sexually harassed by his classmates. Amid it all, he also has to reevaluate the nature of his relationship with his girlfriend, Rie. His predicament further complicates when he begins to view Rie's brother Akira in a new light. As a male, Toshihide acted sheepish when faced with adversity, but if he hopes to regain some sense of normalcy as a female, he must learn to be more decisive. Yogen no Nayuta (Nayuta of the Prophecy) Nayuta is a demonic child who bears horns, lacks a human heart, and speaks in a wicked tongue. Even before her birth, it was prophesied that she would be the one to spur the apocalypse. As a result, the public detests magic users like her. Nayuta's very existence has led to the deaths of her parents and the misfortune of many others; yet despite everything, her older brother Kenji is undeterred and vows to protect her at all costs. While Kenji works a variety of odd jobs to support them, Nayuta remains at home reading, slaughtering rodents for consumption, and manifesting swords. The civil unrest regarding Nayuta continues to escalate, but Kenji tries everything to understand his enigmatic sister, even if she may be the root of an impending catastrophe. Imouto no Ane (Sisters) Anyone would be mortified if their nude portrait hung in the main entrance of their school. This quickly becomes Mitsuko Ehara's mortifying reality after her sister Kyouko's painting wins gold in an art contest. Per tradition, Niga Art High School showcases the award-winning artwork year-round, forcing Mitsuko to endure constant humiliation by her peers. For this, she vows to make Kyouko suffer the same degradation as she has. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
